Chen Resiz, (Avalokiteshvara) by master Bhutanese Thangka artist, Lama Mordo
Devotionally painted by hand over the course of months with careful attention to remarkable detail using 24kt. gold, mineral and silver paints. Lama Mordo is a highly respected and much sought after artisan (25 - 35 yrs old). - 52.5" x 32 ' overall (painting: 28.5" x 21.5") - note there is some damage to paints; this is normal over the years due to the nature of mineral base paints.
