This high ceremonial staff is most unique and rare outside of Tibetan monastery . Carved of wood is displays a ancient style of ritual instrument. Originally Knatvanga were sacred weapons of the Hindu Gods but transformed by Vajrayana Buddhism into a symbol of truth. Used in most particular monastic rituals.
This rare example was collected with the honor required as a work of devotion.
